Adam Edgerly

Adam is an intercultural specialist and gifted communicator who has led transformational workshops for thousands of people on five continents. He has over twenty-five years of experience in public speaking and a unique ability to distill complex concepts into memorable principles and actions. As a Qualified Administrator of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Adam draws upon the latest research and his twenty years of senior executive experience leading and training diverse teams. Adam has completed an MBA from Emory University with an international exchange at the University of Manchester, a BA and MA in Intercultural Studies from Biola University, field research in Mali, West Africa and a Certificat de Langue Français from Université Paris Sorbonne (Paris IV).

Atul Tandon

Atul is an entrepreneur, humanitarian, author and adviser. His work has impacted industries ranging from consumer banking and e-commerce to humanitarian relief and development. He was named one of the top fundraisers in the United States in 2009 and was a leading voice behind the worldwide ONE campaign. In 2009, Atul joined United Way Worldwide as the Executive Director of the organization’s 41-country International Network and their Executive Vice President of Investor Relations. In 2011, he launched a global advisory firm helping non-profits and social sector enterprises maximize their effectiveness. He has also served as Senior Vice President of Donor Engagement for World Vision United States, Director of Citibank’s global branch network, and other roles in the global financial services industry.

Bill Hwang

Bill has come a long way. As an 18 year old kid, he could barely speak English; today he runs a multi-billion dollar hedge fund. Bill is a former prodigy of Julian Robertson and the founder of Tiger Asian Management. And he learned a thing or two from his mentor—Mr. Hwang’s fund returned 55% in 2007 and has a seven-year average of 40%. Religion is not often associated with high-level fund management, but Bill Hwang is one of the few exceptions to this rule. He serves as a board member for Tiger Foundation, The Korea Society, and Fuller Theological Seminary.

Brent Southcombe

Brent is the executive chef and the director of culinary training at Create Common Good, a social and entrepreneurial venture providing job-training and employment for refugees and other disadvantaged populations. As a multi-award-winning executive chef, Brent has extensive international experience in restaurants and five star hotels and was named Chef of the Nation for Australia/New Zealand. Growing up on New Zealand dairy farms has made Brent passionate about quality, farm-fresh produce and supporting local farmers and providers. He is a regular columnist with Queenslan Homes Magazine and has had his work featured in many national publications.

Cue Jean-Marie

Cue currently serves as the discipleship Pastor of Newsong LA Covenant Church. He is also the Founder and President of the SHAW Community Transformation Corporation in the Crenshaw community of Los Angeles. A former Virgin Records artist as part of the rap group College Boyz, Cue heard a call from God in 1994 while watching the movie “Malcolm X.” Cue has been involved in local and international ministries for the past 7 years, and just recently returned from Thailand where he helped to raise funding for missionaries and ministries there.

Dave Brubaker

Dave started a promising ministry career at Bayside Covenant Church in Granite Bay, CA. In 2004, he connected with XEALOT and suddenly life was turned upside-down. He and his family moved to Thailand in 2005 to help launch Newsong Church in Bangkok, then went on to lead a similar initiative in London. In 2009 he returned to California to launch a production company, bringing a creative spark and 15 years of ministry experience to his role on the XEALOT team. Dave studied at UC Berkeley and has a Master’s degree from Western Seminary.

Dave Gibbons

Dave is a proven innovation strategist, author, culture specialist, and creative communicator. He has traveled the world to share dynamic insights on leadership development, regularly speaking in strategic cities throughout North America and Asia, and is the author of The Monkey and the Fish, an award-winning book on culture. He has served on the board of World Vision US and helps to guide a group of third-culture faith communities called Newsong. Dave holds a Master of Theology degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is a graduate from Max Depree’s Roundtable of Leaders.

Fred Harteis

Freddy is the host of the New TV Series called “Hollywood Hunter.” The show share great segments in the field and the responsibility to give back. Being the only son to one of the world’s most experienced hunters, Freddy Harteis was able to learn from the very best. While his father was harvesting North America’s most desired big game trophies, Freddy joined in on many of them, not to mention traveling the world to take some of the “Big 5″ elephant, buffalo and leopard.

Jeannie Mai

Jeannie is an actress, TV personality, makeup artist, and fashion expert best known for her exuberant energy as the host of Style Network’s Emmy- nominated show How Do I Look? Jeannie also appears as a frequent fashion correspondent on the Today show and The Daily 10 on E! News. She has also hosted a wide variety of other specials at Style Network including Dude, Where’s your Style?, Go Fix Yourself, and Lucky Shops in conjunction with Lucky Magazine. Jeannie has been featured in a wide variety of popular publications including US Weekly, OK! Magazine, Glamour, Teen Vogue, Elle, Allure, and Ebony.

Jeff Brazil

Jeff is a journalist, writer, and editor who received the Pulitzer Prize for Investigative Journalism in 1993 for a series of articles published in the Orlando Sentinel. Jeff also won a Scripps Howard award for environmental journalism in 1991 for a year-long examination of the then-failing efforts to save the endangered manatee in Florida. In 1994 he won the Worth Bingham Prize for a series of stories exposing lapses within the Federal Aviation Administration on safety issues. He is currently part of a MacArthur Foundation-funded research effort at the University of California’s Humanities Research Institute to analyze the impact of the Internet and digital media on education and learning, participatory politics, and youth. As Communications Director for the Digital Media and Learning Research Hub, he directs editorial, digital media, and strategic content development.

Jim Orred

Jim is a leadership development professional who is highly gifted in mentoring younger leaders. He is a Minnesota native who spent 25 years in Europe including nine years in Greece pioneering transformational projects in the Balkan nations. Jim and his wife have led nine leadership development training events in six continents for Youth With A Mission and he has served on the executive leadership team of YWAM’s Kona, Hawaii location for the past 11 years. Jim is a graduate of Elim Bible Institute. He enjoys blogging and learning from young artists and musicians.

Judy Orred

Judy Orred is the founder of SLINGSHOT Leadership Events, an international gathering of young leaders that is held on nearly every continent.  The vision of SLINGSHOT is to facilitate a learning environment for young leaders that applies leadership principles that strengthens both individual and organizational foundations.  Transformation of peoples and places is her passion. Judy is a global thinker, communicator and connector and is teaching and consulting with diverse leadership teams around the world.  She has lived and raised a family in numerous cross cultural contexts, and  understands why celebrating unity and diversity is so important in today’s world.

Mike Foster

For the past 10 years Mike Foster has been creating new ways to experience life transformation. He consults with leaders across the country on personal sustainability and life management and leads “People of the Second Chance,” an initiative to help individuals and teams survive and thrive after personal or organizational failure. He is the author of Gracenomics: Unleash the Power of Second Chance Living and serves on the executive team at the award-winning national design firm PlainJoe Studios. Mike is also an advisor for the Q and Catalyst leadership conferences.

Philip Paul

Philip is founder and CEO of Unlimited Innovations, Inc., a software products and services firm with offices in Asia and North America that serves clients in the aerospace, health care and financial services industries. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary in Canada and has completed his executive education at the Harvard Business School.

Ralph Winter

Ralph Winter is a Hollywood film producer who has produced blockbuster movies such as the X-Men, Fantastic Four and Star Trek series. Winter is also a partner in ThomasWinterCooke, which produces television commercials and represents a number of commercial directors. Winter is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He has helped along such film schools as the Veracity Project and Biola University. He is also a member of the Entertainment & Tourism Management Advisory Board at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton.

Richard Kang

As Executive Vice President, Strategy and Business Development for MTV Networks, he spearheaded the development and articulation of MTVN’s overarching corporate strategies and coordinated large-scale, global growth opportunities. Before this, Richard served as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development at IAC/InterActiveCorp, founded and served as Managing Director at The Confluence Group, and worked as an investment banker at Wasserstein Perella & Co. Kang is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations as well as the Asia Society. He received his B.A. in English Literature and Political Science from the University of Michigan and his M.A. from Harvard University in Economics.

Sam Oh

In the last 20 years, Sam has led ventures in retail and IT as well as creating best practices for working inter-culturally. Sam was the Vice President of Information Technology for Fresh and Easy Neighborhood Market in the US, a subsidiary of Tesco and the third-largest retailer in the world. While serving as Senior Vice President for Tesco Lotus in Thailand, he helped build various retail formats and introduced retail innovations. Sam has lived and worked in the US, Korea, Thailand, China, Hong Kong, and England. He studied Computer Science and Mathematics at University of California, San Diego and received executive leadership training at UCLA.
